First know about what is the role of Publisher in dynamic CRM ?
Publisher is very helpful they provide a mechanism for updating and managing solution. Based on this publisher you can control the prefix and option value, you can manage when and who creates a solution via the publisher, which is very important when you’re working with managed solutions.
To Create Publisher in CRM , following these steps:
1. go to Settings -> Solution
2. Click New. You see a screen similar to the one shown in screenshot
3. To create a new publisher, select Look Up More Records, select New, and complete the information on the form
4. After that click on “New” button.
5. You see a screen similar to the one shown in screenshot.Fill the required field like Display Name, Prefix and so on according to your requirement and click on Save and Close Button.
6. After click on “Save and Close” Button in front of you will show this screen. Please search your publisher name and select your publisher name and finally click on “Add” button.
7. you can see in this screenshot Publisher is successfully created finally save and close.
